[...] On the Whole Jesse Jackson Dissing of Obama: I can’t really say that I was surprised by all of this. Anyone who thinks that a Reverend is a saint is completely mistaken. So he used the “N-word” and doesn’t like Obama’s stances on some of the issues. Believe me, he is not the only black person out their who shares that sentiment and uses that word. That said, Jackson is a fool for saying that on a hot-mic, and you would think a public figure like him knows better than that. It just goes to show you that he is getting old. But the real issue out all of this is that Jackson’s son “rebuked his father’s statements.” Now what the hell does that mean? This country has officially gone soft when people have to start rebuking the genuine thoughts and opinions of someone else. It’s completely pointless no matter how you put it. What does “rebuking” mean? Does that mean that Jesse’s son wants to end his ties with his father? Does it mean that Jesse’s son rebukes his father’s line of thoughts? Will Jesse’s son go out and seek to ruin his father’s career? Or does it just mean what already goes with out saying, which is that Jesse’s son does not agree with what his father said? Come on now? Rebuke? That’s what you say when an evil dictator says he wants you to join hand and hand in genocide. [...]
